Cayucos is located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco in San Luis Obispo County. Cayucos is about 20 minutes north of the City of San Luis Obispo on Scenic Highway 1.

From Los Angeles, Scenic Highway 1 splits off from State Highway 101 (the main California coastal highway) about midway through San Luis Obispo and continues up the coast to San Francisco. Also known as Santa Rosa exit. Cayucos is 20+/- minutes north of the 101/1 exit.

From San Francisco, you can take Hwy 101 to Hwy 46 West, just south of Paso Robles, over to Hwy 1 and head south about 10+/- minutes to Cayucos.

From the Central Valley and Hwy 5, take Hwy 41 West from Fresno, or Hwy 46 West from Bakersfield to Hwy 101 in Paso Robles. Jog south on 101 to Hwy 46 West and head south about 10 minutes from Hwy 1.
